山东工商学院始建于1985年，坐落在联合国授予的“最适合人类居住的城市”、最佳中国魅力城市、中国首批14个沿海开放城市--烟台市，依山傍海，风景秀丽。学校以经济、管理、信息学科见长，是一所以财商教育为特色的开放式高水平财经类大学，集本科生教育、研究生教育、继续教育和留学生教育多层次办学格局为一体。现有57个本科专业，17个二级院（部）、7个研究院、36个研究所（中心），全日制在校本科生、研究生20851人。

学校坚持全方位开放合作，推进教育国际化，设有教育部批准的山东省最早的本科中外合作办学机构—国际商学院，先后与美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚、意大利、韩国、日本等国家的50余所高校建立了友好合作关系。学校大力发展来华留学生教育，设有山东省政府外国留学生奖学金、新生奖学金、优秀学生奖学金、HSK优胜奖学金，是中外语言合作交流中心批准的汉语水平考试（HSK）网络考试考点。

2.护照照片页复印件（报到时须出示原件），在华学生需提供居留许可页复印件

3.体检证明（6个月有效期内）

4.无犯罪证明（6个月有效期内）

5.银行出具的经济担保证明

6.在华读汉语言或者预科的学生，提供在读学校提供的介绍信、结业证明或转学证明

除以上材料外，各类别还需提供：

本科生

1. 高中毕业证复印件

2. 高中成绩单复印件

3. 英文授课专业所需材料：英语水平等级证书，雅思5.5及其他相对等英语成绩，如没有英语水平证书，学校将组织考试，成绩测试合格才能取得入学资格。

4. 中文授课专业所需材料：HSK 4级汉语水平证书，如没有汉语水平证书，学校提供汉语培训，达到汉语水平要求后，进行专业的学习。

硕士研究生

1. 学士学位证书复印件

第一步：登录山东工商学院国际学生在线申请系统http://sdtbu.liuguanbao.com/Account/Login/  

注册并登录后按要求真实、完整地填写《国际学生入学申请表》，并按照系统要求上传相关证明附件。

第二步：材料审核。

第三步：如被录取，将寄送录取通知书以及入学报到须知等材料。

六、费用(人民币：元)

留学费用表

Prospectus for International Students at SDTBU

University Introduction

Founded in 1985, Shandong Technology and Business University is located in Yantai, one of the first 14 open coastal cities in China, which is awarded by the United Nations as "the most suitable city for human habitation" and the best charming city in China. The university is specialized in Economics, Management and Information Science. It is an open, high-level university of Finance and Economics featuring Wealth Management, integrating undergraduate education, graduate education, continuing education and international student education. Currently, there are 57 undergraduate programs, 17 secondary schools (departments), 7 research institutes, 36 research centers, and 20,851 full-time undergraduates and postgraduates.

The university adheres to all-dimensional opening and cooperation and promotes the internationalization of education. It has the earliest undergraduate Sino-foreign cooperatively-running institution in Shandong province approved by the Ministry of Education -- International Business School. The university has established friendly relations with more than 50 universities in more than 20 countries including the United States, Britain, Canada, France, Italy, Japan and South Korea. The university is committed to developing the education of international students in China. It has set up scholarship for foreign students including International Students Scholarship of Shandong provincial government, School President Scholarship, Outstanding Student Scholarship and HSK Excellence Scholarship. The Chinese language proficiency test (HSK) network test site is approved by Chinese Center for Language Education and Cooperation.

IV. Application materials

All students are required to provide:

1. SDTBU Application Form for International Students (see attachment 1), with signature and 2-inch white background photos

2. Copy of passport photo page (the original passport must be presented when registration)

Students in China need to provide scanned copies of visa page and residence permit page, entrance of China page.

3.Physical examination certificate

The medical examination result is valid for 6 months.

4.Police-clearance certificate

The police-clearancecertificate is valid for 6 months.  

5.Bank economic guarantee certificate

In addition to the above materials, the following should be provided respectively:

1. Chinese language programs

1) Copy of high school diploma 2) Copy of high school transcripts  

2. Undergraduate programs

1) Copy of high school diploma  2) Copy of high school transcripts

3) Copy of the new HSK certificate (those who do not have the new HSK certificate shall study Chinese language training at our school.)

4)Majors teaching in English:  

Certificate of English Proficiency: IELTS 5.5 or other corresponding level certificate. If there is no Certificate of English proficiency, school will organize examinationand interview to test students’English proficiency.

5)Majors teaching in Chinese:

HSK level 4 Certificate of Chinese Proficiency. If there is no HSK certificate, school will provide Chinese language training. After reaching the Requirements of Chinese language proficiency, students can study professionally.

3. Graduate programs

1) Copy of bachelor's degree certificate

3) Majors teaching in English:  

Certificate of English Proficiency: IELTS 6.0 or other corresponding level certificate. If there is no Certificate of English proficiency, school will organize examinationand interview to test students’English proficiency.

4)Majors teaching in Chinese:

HSK level 4 Certificate of Chinese Proficiency. If there is no HSK certificate, student should have the Chinese Proficiency test by SDTBU. Reaching the Requirements of Chinese language proficiency, students can study professionally.

5) Personal statementand study plan

6) Letters of recommendation from two associate professors or scholars with corresponding titles or above (indicating the phone number and email address of the referees)

Notes:

1) All kinds of graduation certificates, degree certificates and transcripts shall be translated into Chinese or English.

2) Proof of work experience is required if the applicant has a job.

V. Application procedures

Step 1: Log into the online application system for STBU International Students http://sdtbu.liuguanbao.com/Account/Login/. After registration and log in, please fill in the application form truthfully and completely, and upload relevant credentials as attachments as required by the system.

If the system doesn’t work, scan the required materials and send them to 201511787@sdtbu.edu.cn.

Step 2: Material review.

Step 3: Admitted students will receive the admission notice, related official materials and admission instructions.
